⁸but to the Son, he says,

“Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever;
you rule your Kingdom with a scepter of equity;
⁹you have loved righteousness and hated wickedness.
Therefore, O God, your God has anointed you
with the oil of joy in preference to your companions”;^[a]

¹⁰and,

“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth;
heaven is the work of your hands.
