Judas,(A) who betrayed(B) him, also knew the place, because Jesus often met there with his disciples. So Judas took a company of soldiers and some officials[a] from the chief priests and the Pharisees(C) and came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons.

Then Jesus, knowing everything that was about to happen to him,(D) went out and said to them, “Who is it that you’re seeking?”
