⁴ He comforts us in all our affliction,^[a] so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

²⁹ For it has been given to you on Christ’s behalf not only to believe^(A) in Him, but also to suffer for Him,

¹⁰ My goal is to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings,^(A) being conformed to His death,^(B)
