²³So they proposed two: Joseph, called Barsabbas, who was also known as Justus, and Matthias.^(A) ²⁴Then they prayed,^(B) ‘You, Lord, know everyone’s hearts; show which of these two you have chosen^(C) ²⁵to take the place^[a] in this apostolic ministry^(D) that Judas left to go where he belongs.’
