²⁶ From one man^[a] he has made every nationality to live over the whole earth and has determined their appointed times and the boundaries of where they live.^{(A) 27} He did this so that they might seek God, and perhaps they might reach out and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.^(B)

¹⁹ since what can be known^[a] about God is evident among them,^(A) because God has shown it to them. ²⁰ For his invisible attributes, that is, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world,^(B) being understood through what he has made.^(C) As a result, people are without excuse.
