Habakkuk 1:10-12

New International Version

¹⁰ They mock kings
    and scoff at rulers.^(A)
They laugh at all fortified cities;
    by building earthen ramps^(B) they capture them.
¹¹ Then they sweep past like the wind^(C) and go on—
    guilty people, whose own strength is their god.”^(D)

¹² Lord, are you not from everlasting?^(E)
    My God, my Holy One,^(F) you^[a] will never die.^(G)
You, Lord, have appointed^(H) them to execute judgment;
    you, my Rock,^(I) have ordained them to punish.
