Habakkuk 1:9-11

⁹ All of them come to do violence;
their faces^(A) are set in determination.^[a]
They gather^(B) prisoners like sand.^(C)
10 They mock^(D) kings,
and rulers are a joke to them.
They laugh^(E) at every fortress
and build siege ramps to capture^(F) it.
¹¹ Then they sweep^(G) by like the wind
and pass through.
They are guilty;^[b] their strength is their god.
