³¹ The strong one will become tinder,
and his work a spark;
both will burn together,^(A)
with no one to extinguish the flames.^(B)

Administer justice every morning,
and rescue the victim of robbery
from his oppressor,^(A)
or my anger will flare up like fire
and burn unquenchably
because of your evil deeds.

⁶ Seek the Lord^(A) and live,
or he will spread like fire^(B)
throughout the house of Joseph;
it will consume everything
with no one at Bethel to extinguish it.^(C)
