Jonah 1:2-4

² ‘Get up!^(A) Go to the great city^(B) of Nineveh^(C) and preach against it^(D) because their evil^(E) has come up before me.’^{(F) 3} Jonah got up to flee to Tarshish^(G) from the Lord’s presence.^(H) He went down^(I) to Joppa^(J) and found a ship going to Tarshish. He paid the fare and went down into it to go with them to Tarshish from the Lord’s presence.

⁴ But the Lord threw^(K) a great wind onto the sea,^(L) and such a great storm arose on the sea that the ship threatened to break apart.
