Regulations for Priests

⁸ The Lord spoke to Aaron: ⁹ “You and your sons are not to drink wine^(A) or beer^(B) when you enter the tent of meeting, or else you will die; this is a permanent statute^(C) throughout your generations. ¹⁰ You must distinguish^(D) between the holy and the common,^(E) and the clean and the unclean,^{(F) 11} and teach the Israelites all the statutes^(G) that the Lord has given to them through Moses.”

⁹ They taught throughout Judah, having the book of the Lord’s instruction with them.^(A) They went throughout the towns of Judah and taught the people.
