³⁸ He^(A) also said in his teaching, ‘Beware of the scribes, who want to go around in long robes^(B) and who want greetings in the marketplaces,^{(C) 39} the best seats^(D) in the synagogues,^(E) and the places of honour^(F) at banquets.^(G)
