²² As^(A) they were eating, he took bread,^(B) blessed and broke^(C) it, gave it to them,^(D) and said, “Take it; this is my body.”^{(E) 23} Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks,^(F) he gave it to them, and they all drank from it. ²⁴ He said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant,^[a](G) which is poured out^(H) for many.^(I)
