¹⁶ He appointed the Twelve:^[a](A) To Simon,^(B) he gave the name Peter;^{(C) 17} and to James^(D) the son of Zebedee,^(E) and to his brother John,^(F) he gave the name “Boanerges” (that is, “Sons of Thunder”^(G)); ¹⁸ Andrew;^(H) Philip^(I) and Bartholomew; Matthew^(J) and Thomas;^(K) James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot, ¹⁹ and Judas Iscariot,^(L) who also betrayed him.
