Proverbs 13:14-16

¹⁴ A wise person’s instruction is a fountain of life,^(A)
turning people away from the snares of death.^(B)

¹⁵ Good sense wins favor,^(C)
but the way of the treacherous never changes.^[a]

¹⁶ Every sensible person acts knowledgeably,
but a fool displays his stupidity.^(D)
