Psalm 60:6-8

⁶God has spoken in his sanctuary:^[a]
“I will celebrate!
I will divide up Shechem.^(A)
I will apportion the Valley of Succoth.^(B)
⁷Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine,
and Ephraim is my helmet;^(C)
Judah is my scepter.^(D)
⁸Moab is my washbasin.^(E)
I throw my sandal on Edom;^(F)
I shout in triumph over Philistia.”^(G)
