⁷ He rules for ever by his might;
he keeps his eye on the nations.^(A)
The rebellious should not exalt themselves.^(B) Selah
⁸ Bless our God, you peoples;
let the sound of his praise be heard.^(C)
9 He keeps us alive^[a]
and does not allow our feet to slip.^(D)
