1 Paul,^(A) a slave of God^(B) and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to build up^[a] the faith of God’s elect^(C) and their knowledge of the truth^(D) that leads^[b] to godliness,^(E)

²⁰ But I have this against you: You tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and teaches and deceives My slaves to commit sexual immorality^[a] and to eat meat sacrificed to idols.
